I have photoshop CS2 and I installed the dds plugin and am trying to convert a jpeg file to a dds file. I saved it using the settings somebody showed on here in a screen capture of the nvidia dxt thing.....And people wrote thanking him so I assume those settings are correct. What happens is it keeps telling me that either the height or the width is not a power of 2....but it is, 256 x 256. Any ideas of what I might be doing wrong??? Thanks in advance.

OK, i realized it wasn't at 256, it was at like 341 or 441 or something like that....However it was still a power of 2 so doesn't seem like it should matter. Oh well, it saved fine anyway. NOW, when I inject it, it shows up all messed up.....Like, the bottom of the pictures starts about a third of the way up the image space, and below that is the TOP of the picture.....So basically, the top 1/3 of the pic, is now on the bottom. I've seen other people post about that on here, but I can't find any of the posts about it no matter how hard I look. :@ Anybody know the solution to this?

Ya, I'm having a problem too, and I didn't want to make a new topic so...

Once I highlight or unhighlight those settings it still doesnt let me save, how do I get it to let me?

i dont know ether the 32bit thing was right, thats why i said check the highlited things, but the no Mip mapping should not let you problem occur with the top half being at the bottom and the lower part being at the top...huurm...

Hmm I have things exactly as in that picture you posted....You don't have to do anything weird to the picture after you save it and before you inject it do you, like how you have to sign the maps and stuff like that? Also, the picture starts out as a jpeg when i open it up in photoshop, that couldn't possibly cause problems could it, instead of it being a bitmap or something like that?
