Adding More Maps

I wanted to add more maps to my list so I read this tutorial (
http://www.halomods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=32700 Q #25) and I went into my mainmenu.map and added in the information. Uploaded the mainmenu.map and my map. I saw it on the list in the game, clicked on it, and started the count down. When it got to 0 it said waiting for people to load the map and when it finished it left the lobby and went to a black screen. Then a second later, it went back to the lobby. Whats happening?

Did you change (it's easiest to do this in hex) the scenario name inside the hacked .map file? I.E, if your mainmenu.map is pointing to scenario\multi\modhax\modhax, you need to edit the scenario name of your modhax.map accordingly. It should be the first coherent string that you see in the hex. If you want, I can cap a screenie in Xvi32, but I'm not gonna do that if this isn't your problem :P

Okay, gah, I'm really busy at the moment, not enough time to make a screenshot. Just open up a .map file in any hex editor, and you'll see what I mean.

you dont need to do that
the reason you go back to the menu is because your using the 1.1b AU(xbl) you need 1.0(origonal) or 1.1a map disc
omg i have answered this question so many times in the last week its rediculas
