Secondary fire on vehicles.

Let's say I wanted to assign a weapon with two projectiles (rocket launcher, plasma pistol) to a vehicle. Is there any way to keep the secondary proj. It's a flying vehicle and I want it to be able to lock onto other vehicles with it's rocket. Also, I switched the rocket's proj's to pelican rockets, since they look cooler and it takes two of them to drop a light vehicle and three to drop a tank--makes it more balanced. But the homing flag is on the weapon, so changing the proj shouldn't mess it up, right?
I tried keeping the rocket's hud, but this left it with no hud at all and it still didn't lock on. I even tried giving lock-on to the primary fire but it still had no effect. Any thoughts.
[edit] Also, when I try to edit the proj spawn point in dothalo it doesn't seem to have any effect. How do you move it?
