What map would i get a platform from to make it float above the sky.
Also, how would i change on containment where you came out of the teleporter?

I would just start taking a look at all the scen, bloc, and mach tags in the sp maps and see if you can find one you like. DON'T just build a big flat platform out of containment gates--that's freakin' lame. I also suggest the platform have some kind of shape to it and at least a little cover (big flat areas suck for firefights).
To move the teleporter use blue guerilla in ADI. If you have a coord map, you should be able to figure out which one is which and move it to your platform.

Do you know of any maps with some good fire fight platforms?

I don't. I actually went through all the maps looking at various machs, scen, vehi, and blocs looking for something cool to make a vehicle out of, but I wasn't really looking for platforms. I suggest you just start opening up sp maps in Insolence and see what you can find.
