Computer, Halo maps, other Apps acting up
I know that there is another section for this, but no one has answered my posts becuase I don't think that too many look there. However this does have to do with me modding halo 2 so mods please don't move or delete.
Whenever I try to open a program like 3ds max it tells me that it fails to initialize and when i open photoshop, it tells me that I need to check the registry. Whenever I try to open my maps they say that they can't be found however when i redownload them I can open them. And finally, whenever I try to download something from the internet and such i get a message telling me that "C:\(filepath ending in\Temp\name of file write) could not be saved because the source file could not be read.
If anyone could please help we with this it would be greatily appreciated.

1. 3ds max ect - your problem my be the need of a new graphics card
2. photoshop - try uninstalling and reinstalling
3. maps not found - if u have changed any folder names recently change them back to what they were
4. files not saving correctly - cant remember how to fix this... might depend on how you download it ie if you just click the link normally, then try right click -> save target as...
finally defragment your pc

Sorry xzodia but thanks for the help, I was running all the programs the night before, and I also eventually did a disk defragmentation. However, nothing helped.
And to you dazzajay, I have already run mcafee and adware and spybot and registry mechanic and none of them have found a single problem related to this.
Also, based on a closer look that I have taken, I'm fairly certain that some sort of dll or other system file like that was somehow deleted. So if anyone thinks that they can help at all just post please.

a deleted dll? ugh that sounds like windows, the problem with windows is everything is relyant on something else, and if one peice goes wrong, the lot goes, (thats why i format once every 3 months, not because i want to, but because im forced to)... i wish MS would release something that auctualy worked for once... also if you know what file... i can make a copy of it and send if i have it.
