Invisable wall removal?

Invisable wall removal?
im wondering if there is a way to remove the Soft invis walls on headlong... i call them soft because the banchee or flying jeep kinda bounce off, instead of crunching into the wall, and also if i use the flying MC mod, i can walk right thru the invis walls and get to the top of the level, i would like to be able to do that in flying veichles.

The thing you're talking about is different from invisible walls. It's a banshee barrier. I've experimented a bit--enough to know that if you manage to get a flyable vehicle above it (I set the banshee and player spawn above one once) the vehicle explodes as soon as you enter it.
I've asked around and it seems nobody knows how to beat it.
I have a theory, though, that if you lower the rest of the map, it might give you more space. I tried this once, but couldn't figure out how to lower the mesh's. Since Bsp Master is out now, it might work. I'll experiment on it later (right now my 'puter isn't feeling well) and let you know, or you can just try it yourself and lets us know. It'd be a huge pain, though, 'cuz you'd have to lower EVERTHING: the collision, mesh, and every single spawn point (players, weapons, vehicles, scen, mach, bloc, everything!)

lowering everything would probly make the map incompadible with other xboxes, so thats a no go er, on campaign, i have jacked a banchee (at the bridge part before the tunnel) and because i was behind the barrier, it sling-shot me out at like 1000mph.... what ive noticed is, the barrier dosent do anything to the bots in campaign, only chief character, so im thinking there would be a way to trick the map into thinking that theres noone driving a veichle even tho there is? if that is possible, cos veichles defanaly go thru the barrier if nobody is in them.
Hm.... something in the bipd? Maybe it's a phmo thing? I'll have to try looking into it again. I'd forgotten about AI being able to fly through it. In old mombassa (or was it new? I can never remember which is which) there's that trick where if you manage to get a banshee to follow you and you jack it at just the right time you can go get the scarab gun, but if you jack it early it explodes. I guess that was the same kind of barrier thing. On the subject, does this mean Ascension has two banshee barriers or does a death barrier block a banshee (to keep you from flying to your death)?
Yeah, I don't know what exactly lowering everything would do with other boxes. To be honest, the reason I haven't followed through with that experiment is 'cuz it would be a LOT of work, just to give myself a little more sky to fly in.
