In colossus and Elongation, there are conveyor belts. i've looked around, but I can't find anything on them in the map. It's like the crashed hunman transport pod in relic; It's just... not there. If anyone knows how i can transfer them to another map, or change their position or speed, please help me. Thanks.

no. I checked. they show up in dm as part of the map, but something must be acting on them.

The crashed transport pod in relic IS part of the map. Pissed me off, cuz when I saw it I thought it'd be perfect for a mod I want to do, but no go. Don't know anything about the conveyors, except that they CAN be turned off 'cuz they were in the Halo 2: CE mod.

So, the crashed pod was part of the sbsp in relic? Why doesn't it show up in DM? where'd you finally find the pod in the map?
I've had no further luck with the conveyor belts either. Maybe they're in shared.map...

I extracted the bsp with darkmatter. When I looked in the folder it created, I saw the textures for the crashed ship. That means it's built in.

It is probably scenery then. Like a tree. Meaning that you can transfer it and then replace a machs hlmt with it's so that it has full collision.

Can't remember if I tried looking in scenery. I think I did and couldn't find it, but I'm not positive. When I get my puter back up to full speed, I'll check again.

I just checked for you and yes that's where they are

Uh... you mean it CAN be extracted/placed in other maps? We are talking about the crashed dropship looking thing in Relic, right? I couldn't even find a mode for in in darkmatter, or a hlmt. Would it be possible to replace a vehicle's hlmt with it then so you could have an actual dropship?

if dos mes is refering to the relic ship (although i think he is talking about the conveyors) then no you couldnt because relic + insolence = error

nope im tlking about the relic ship. Sorry I should have made myself more clear. And there are other ways of transfering objects, although they take much longer. But look in a sp map for one if you really want one.

btw i dont think that scen is the drop ship cause i tried to find it last year sometime and im sure i spawned all the scen tags

I looked in the scen, mach, vehi, and bloc tags of all the sp maps. If I saw that relic ship, then I must not have recognized it for what it was. Is it actually in sp anywhere, 'cuz I've never seen it.
Also, where can I find out how to extract things from Relic? I know it's possible but haven't had any need yet, since I don't plan on putting anything in it, and this is the first thing I've wanted to take out of it.

Could probably use darkmatter to extract the meta. Then "add to map". But i've never done it before so im not sure if it would work 100%

I'll try it. I hate dm, though. Too many flaws. Maybe Adi can do it, too.

Dm is the only one that can "add to map". There really arent that many flaws if the correct version is used.

yeha, I checked the map as well for the very same reason. All that I've found was the skin for it. It has a very weird name, but you should recognize it. if anyone knows how to see which tags a certain thing is referenced in, please see where the bitm is leading to.
I also have this problem with the floating halo on gemini. I haven't even been able to find so much as a vestige of it anywhere (this is the hologram floating over the prophet statue's head). Maybe these invisible objects are the reason why insolence won't open them...

Hey Dos Mes, I still can't find the bloody thing (finally got happy with where my 'puter is at and reinstalled all my halo aps). The only thing I can find under scenery that I thought might be it was "insertion pod" but that turns out to be one of those, well, insertion pods. The things you get dropped into battle in when you play sp.
So if the relic ship is indeed there, do you know what it's called/where it is? I normally don't ask people to go looking for stuff for me, but I'm getting nowhere on this one.
N64, what was its name? [edit] Think I found the skin. It's called dune_crashed_hev. There are two bitmaps and two bump maps. Pretty sure those are the bitmaps I got when I extracted the bsp (except dm makes them jpegs) so I'm still of the opinion that it's just part of the bsp. Dos Mes, I REALLY hope you prove me wrong.

but why that object? think about it. this is relic. bungie shouldn't have known about dm or anything. why would they have a reason to treat the hev differently than any other object? of course, that still begs the question: why the heck isn't it there in the first place?! dm has a tag for unnowns, so maybe it is a part of the bsp. its just weird. its like it just disappears.
is there any way to see where an object is referenced? like, say, take the two bitms and trace it back to the object that uses them?
snaku, extract the bsp again and look for the model of the hev. if it is in the bsp, then it will be extracted. pm me if you don't have a modeler to look at the models, but I have a strong feeling you have one. I'm leaving for vacation on wednesday, so that means no modding programs but access to a computer (or atleast linksboks) you cannot use what is not there, so the model is hidden somewhere.
