I heard you can inject sounds using dark matter. Could someone tell me exactly what to do to make music when you get into a warthog, or music on a multiplayer map while you play? Like what kind of sound extension would i have to download to inject?

I think he(VoYdE) was talking about the intro music(or the extracted music). For you, I think you would use DM so you were right

yea but how would i go about doing it? I extract the sounds, but they are meta files, and rad video tools cant edit .meta files. Is there another program that could edit these types of files?

are you extracting the meta or raw data? If it is raw and you still get the problem i dont know what is happening.

I was extracting meta. How do you extract raw data? What program do i use for that?
Well i tried dothalo and extracted warthog/left/loop or somthing and i couldnt play the file in windows media player to hear it. Then i opened up RAD vid tools and tried to convert it to a bik file, but when i click "bink it", It says error opening loop.wav. EVEN THOUGH THE FILE IS A WAVE FILE! i dont know why it can't do it. Any suggestions? I am not good with rad vid tools so if someone could walk me through it? thanks

well if the file isnt bink then just edit it in a sound editor(unless it doesnt work) I have never done this before.

Well i am still looking into this and I found that i need HEK tools such as guerilla, sapien, and tool.exe. I downloaded HEK and it says i cant even install it untill i have Halo CE on my computer. Is this true? Is there any other way i can use these tools without Halo CE on my computer?

Wow, are you trying to do this for halo 2 of for ce cause those tools are for ce. You should try extracting the sounds with DM.

Isnt that just for the main menu? I suppose it might work though. Well I think you extract sounds from DM by going into the sound tag and then either raw data editor and extract or just click around on a sound. Just play around in there and remeber I havent done this.
