I added a grunt into multiplayer but when i sign in a 2nd controller, and pick up a weapon with the grunt and look at the grunt with the 2nd controller, he isnt holding anything. And how do I get the fuel rod cannon in multiplayer?

correct me if i am wrong but i do believe that the grunt can only hold certain weapons

True^ Grunts Arent Made to be played with so they can only have basic weapons like The PP and Such, or it may be a weapon is not linked to the biped

yes the bipd isnt set up with that weapon and its animations if i am correct i should look like he is just sliding on the ground no animation when he has the gun

The map Exhausted has grunts with FRG's.

ok, you swapped the hlmt of the grunt with the master chief or elite...
which in turn, the guns are raammed up the grunts ass... if you shoot your gun and watch, youll see what i mean...

to fix this set the hlmt of whatever you swapped back to normal...
you have to go into the "matg" folder, and select the globals tag... under unknown 8 i believe it is(something else if you have the updated plugins), you can change the bipd that spawns as the player, and change the fp arms, and fp body...

then the weapons will be in the right spot, not up his ass hidden... :wink:

To make a grunt hold any weapon just go to the weap tag in Insolence and select the weapon you want it to hold. Once the tag is open, stay in Edit Mode and go down and you will see 2 things called Weapon Type and 1 thing called Weapon Short Form. Say you wanted the grunt to hold the FRG, you would put 'pistol' without quotes in the first weapon type, and than in short form you would put 'pp' without quotes. Than in the second Weapon Type that says '0.) Undefined', change it to '5.) Rocket Launcher' without quotes.

For your fuel rod gun.....

spawn it through the itmc collections tag.

1)open ur map in insolence and go to itmc tag.
2)duplicate any item in there, i used the rocket launcher ammo
3) open up the rocketlauncher ammo you just duplicated and change its dependency to the "fuel rod gun"
4) Then go open up ADI and open the scnr tag. Then click tools at the top and go to blue guerilla
5) then scroll down to the collections tab and click the collection and change whatever weapon is in that box to your rocket launcher ammo 2.
6)Then open up cord finder and find the cordinates that you want it to spawn at and put the X Y and Z cordinates in.
7)Then at the top click validation and save.

u can do this with weapons,trees,machines, and vehicles too!

It should spawn on your map now. good luck.

Note: if ADI and Blue Guerilla give you problems, try Insolence scnr tag/netgame equipment
