Why does DM/h2x hate me?
Well here is my problem. I was using DM(dark matter)'s bsp veiwer and all was fine. I go to open it the next day and it gives me an error. Is there something wrong with my dm?
With h2x I have another problem. When I am in the meta editor in the scnr tag in the collections tab, it gives me an error when i try to save. It does this all the time, even when I have done nothing wrong. If someone could help me with this, that would be great.

Well Ill tell you that nothing shows up in my BSP viewer in DM for my coagulation map. But then i tried Burial mounds and it worked. So either it doesnt work with some maps, or its glitchy.
What are you trying to do in H2X? Try using ADI. I usually use ADI to spawn things through ITMC if that is what you are trying to do.

Well I think the DM thing is with every map, and the error is"Index was outside the bounds of array". For h2x, I am following the Active scenery tutorial. Also, when i used insolence to try and change the active scenerys spawn, it saved, but then it didn't appear in the game(or my tester didn't see it).
Maybe re-download DM. I heard that you dont want the newest version cuz the BSP dont work right. So try downloading an older version if you can. I u cant find an older version, just try re-downloading the one you downloaded.
So you are following this Active scenery tutorial? >>>http://ducain.org/hihforum/viewtopic.ph ... ve+scenery
This tutorial works for me. Make sure you dont miss any steps, and where it says to use DM/H2X, use ADI because you can pretty much set the coords and time spawn and everthing in ADI.
I just helped someone spawn a scarab as ITMC so use this same concept, except instead of mach scarab, you will want proj rocket or whatever you are trying to make spawn on your map. And if it is a projectile you are trying to spawn, you can go into dothalo and go to that proj. and edit its speed to slow it down.
1)open ur map in insolence and go to itmc tag.
2)duplicate any item in there, i used the rocket launcher ammo
3) open up the rocketlauncher ammo you just duplicated and change its dependency to the mach scarab.
4) Then go open up ADI and open the scnr tag. Then click tools at the top and go to blue guerilla
5) then scroll down to the collections tab and click the collection and change whatever weapon is in that box to your rocket launcher ammo 2.
6)Then open up cord finder and find the cordinates that you want it to spawn at and put the X Y and Z cordinates in.
7)Then at the top click validation and save.

Well there isnt the yaw pitch, and roll in adi. Or anything else(cept DM and h2x). And, Im not trying to do the fan.
On a side note,I noticed that there are some nulled out itmc's on the scnr tag deppendencies. If I made them un nulled, would there be extra spawns? Also can you swap an itmc with a vehc?

The darkmatter timeline is stupidly confusing, heres whats good:
Darkmatter 1-1 (Working BSP Viewer)
Broken Darkmatter (Completely pointless, dont download)
DMFix (Allows you to still edit the scnr collections after adding a chunk using GG chunk adder, bsp viewer doesnt work)
So basically what im saying is, only use 1-1 for its BSP Viewer and then use DMFix for everything else

The scarab doesn't move because there's no script in a mp map that calls for it to. It still has all it's animations (jmad), but with nothing to call to it... Now, if you could make the scarab into a vehicle, and assign it's walking jmad, to the move forward command... but then it'd only walk forward, not turn. Well, it'd probably turn, but the legs would continue moving as if they were walking forward.t_mann05 wrote:Umm im not totally sure if it would still move. Like a scarab from single player doesnt movie...i know that, but maybe the wheel from zanzibar? just sayin maybe.....but i doubt it.
As far as, say a grav lift, I believe those still work when injected, because they still have the trigger to activate: when someone walks into them. Or that grav conveyer thing from sp--I think it should still work.
The wheel would work if there was something in the scenario that called for the script to be active. I've never experimented with it, so I don't know if there is in other maps than zanzi, or if dragging the mach tag from zanzi will make it work.

1)Well yaw, pitch, and roll are in Insolence in the scnr tag.
2)Yes there would be extra spawns, but only if you put an item in the nulled out place and made sure the coordinates were on the map.
3)Yes you can spawn vehicles through itmc collections.

Doesn't ADI's Blue Guerilla have yaw, pitch and roll?WaywornMmmmm wrote:Well there isnt the yaw pitch, and roll in adi. Or anything else(cept DM and h2x). And, Im not trying to do the fan.
