Dirty Disc Error when h2 on HD

I get a dirty disc error when trying to load halo 2 on my HD...can u help me?

are you loading from a stock HD?

if that means the hd that came with my xbox...then yes

Make sure that you have all of the required files:
default.xbe
update.xbe
(two other .xbe's that I cant remember)
ascension.map
beavercreek.map
burial_mounds.map
coagulation.map
colossus.map
cyclotron.map
foundation.map
headlong.map
mainmenu.map
midship.map
shared.map
waterworks.map
zanzibar.map
and the entire "fonts" folder.
Putting all of these files in could do the trick. I hope this helps you.
