so im making an ATV and i want ur opinions on somethings

1. should the atv b faster or slower than the standard warthog?

2. should the atv have a turret if so should the turret b controled by the driver or by another person

3. should the atv have good or bad handling ie should it turn well at high speed

4. should the atv have a boost or a e-brake

5. any other ideas?

edit: i more thing

6. should it grip the ground well or not?(traction)
ill b looking 4 some testers wen its finished

1. Faster
2. By the driver (one seated vehi--human answer to ghost)
3. Better handling than warthog, not as good as ghost
4. e-brake. Boost would make it too good and unbalanced.
5. Make it so the RL can't lock onto it? So they hafta' actually aim/lead the shot like the good ol' Halo 1 days.

So I'm curious: does this mean it IS possible to edit or at least rearrange the parts of coll and phmo? Or is it still gonna' be full warthog size? Based on a ghost?

So.... does that mean it'll be the same size as a hog? Not to be condescending or anything--I love new vehicles--but if it's not smaller or anything, what's the point?

well i was planning 2 hav the driver lieing down (like in a banshee)

Hmm.... that sounds cool, I guess. Is that just to make him harder to hit, or is there another reason?

im many going 4 the look and i thought itd look a tad dumb if the driver was sitting up but the fact that they would b harder 2 hit is a gd side affect

If you try to make it look like that, it won't animate properly. The wheels (coll and phmo) are still going to be where they would be for the hog (if someone knows how to fix this, please tell me, 'cuz I'd like to know for my own project). So you'd have an atv that would be affected by bumps in the terrain/obstacles that it doesn't appear to be hitting. Also, I'm betting the wheels wouldn't turn either. You'll have to make it the same size as the hog. At least the wheel base, anyway. Could make the cab smaller. It'd still have the hog's collision, but that isn't too big of a factor.

The ghost doesn't even touch the ground. How would you translate it's physics to a wheeled vehicle?

im not touching the wheels 4 that reason so yes it will b the same height/weidth as the hog but its going 2 look a lot different i started the model 2day and its looking class im trying as much as poss 2 have it look like bungie's atv but some things hav 2 b different its unavoidable
