Double Tanks?

Can someone teach me how to make double the amount of tanks spawn on a map WITHOUT editing the map's hex, just through a game save. I know this is possible because I have seen it done before.
Also, in save where it lets you select the starting weapons, what would happen if you selected one of the unknowns.

The ONLY way to do it without hexing, is to add varients to the mainmenu. Look in the files forum and youll find one of Shade 45's patches for the tank thing.

yea but the gamesave was made using the mainmenu patch i did it just the other day

Ok, well i have a new problem. When i try to load things i edited in sav3r, it says that it is damaged.

thazat sometimes happens if u edit them 2 much or put 2 high a value in

Well do you have to sign it, and what is the sign.exe thing? Also, what happens if you select one of the unknowns as a starting weapon?

it signs automatically if u use 1 of the unknowns u just start with a rocket launcher

Well this isnt working for me. Here is what i do.. I bring a save to my comp with action replay. I save it and go to explore file. Then I copy the udata and past it out of the .zip file. Then I open up sav3r and then open the "slayer" file. Then I edit it to my pleasing. Then I clicked save gametype.(no window pops up or anything). Then I put it on the action replay and then put it on my box. Then when I loaded the gametype in halo2 it sayed that it was damaged.

What would"puting in to high a value" be?

well that depends on the value for example the max bomb arm time is really low less then a minute but game lenght is going 2 b a lot higher

after you press save gametype...you have to press the sign.exe...and then save it again...then transfer it

are you shure...because on my Sav3r...there is a tutorial...and it says this at the end...
PLEASE NOTE: When Signing the Gamesave, it must be saved once first, then signed, then saved again, IN THAT ORDER, or the gametype will be corrupted!
