halo acting up

i just got new parts 4 my xbox. (motherboard,daughterboard,HDD) halo2 mp has been loading slower lately. is this normal? if not, how do i fix it?

The game needs to rewrite the cache because you installed a new hard drive, hence clearing the cache.

When you first load a map, halo sends files to the hard drive, called a cache, these files contain images and things of that nature, this is what takes so long, and after that it can just read the cache and not take very long.Darkmaster2110 wrote:please explain more, i don't quite understand

1) your avatar is wayyyy to big
2) Cache is information stored on your xbox from various titles, it lowers the load time of maps (ex) When you first play halo it creates new cache (slow load times) Over time more cache is created makeing load times faster
