noob questions

umm im trying to get started in modding and i dont know hot to get the maps to and from my xbox can i use a normel ethernet cable or do i need gamesaves and if it ia ethernet im not sher how to do that i have one open spot for one on my pc because i have wireless is that were it is supose to go? and if it is what drive would that be? and if i use gamesaves how to i transfer a map because it only lets you send like gsx or something like that or do i need action replay?

plz help im very new!:( sorry for so meny questions!

You need a hardmod or softmod, a pc and xbox setup to each other with your cable or on a router with your pc...next find the IP of your xbox and with your ftp program the username is xbox pass xbox.

should be a good start, im sure the stickys could help explain better.

ummm by hardmod u mean a chip right?... but do u need a chip for soft mod and by my cable u mean a ethernet and do i put in in that open drive?

do u have a mod chip in ur xbox and if u do how much was it and did u put it in ur self?

all the stuff on that site seems to be on mod chips exept where it sid to flash the bios but i cant find how to do tht on ther

and voyde im talking about modding and were on halo 2 modding page so i dont know what ur talking about
