HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Ok, I have already went to google and downloaded photoshop dds plugins, but, and miscellaneous other .dds related files in a vain atempt to be able to edit some textuers.

On my old computer I could do it, but on my new gaming rig I can't, I'll take a screenie of what I get when I extract it shortly.

Thats what I get when I extract it and open it in photoshop as well.
Any help will be much appreciated.

try adi 2.0

try downloading a clean new mainmenu shared and spshared.maps and use ADI like prawn said.

Ok, thanks, I'm pretty sure that's the program I used before, but I can't find the program anywhere, I've tried searching google, and it's all a bunch of articles on hacking halo, never a link to download the actual prgoram.

The only thing I can find is adi 1.2, not 2.0 and 1.2 doesn't save the bitmap as .dds, it saves it as meta data.

1.2 is almost as good but if you want to then download one of those like all in one things and use the adi from that cause thats version 2. and u need to click the bitmap then the little CD with a little i next to it in the bottom right corner then click save texture. to inject just choose inject texture.

No dice, whenever I click that nothing happens. Is there some other plugin I need?

EDIT: I was scrolling through them and found a few that half-way show up, like my old warthog skin:

and now I am incredibly confused

try redownloading the maps and replacing all of them because one of the maps in the same directory might have an incorrect DXT format on the skin because thats what happens when u inject the wrong sort.

By redownloading you mean re-transfering my xbox right?

Well, I've tried that, I've also ried several different maps, nothing.

And there are quite a few 'level details' that will show up.

what do u mean retransferring? i mean going on halo 2 then going to downloadable content and just redownloading all of it.

erm, when i get on halo all it says is capmaign, live, system link, split screen, and settings. Is it because it's more than likely an older copy of halo or what?

Boy, do I feel like a noob, I had forgotten you have to use mainmenu.map haha. Sorry for all the trouble people.

EDIT: um, none of the warthog files are on mainmenu :\. So I have to use a shared map, or something
