active senery questions

ive been reading over alittle on this subject and i belive i can do it what i want to do is have a entry pod(the ones you come down in delta halo) come crashing into the ground and blow up. im replacing the rockets html with the pods html so that part is covered. but what i dont know how to do is make it so when it explodes debris comes out along with a marine or those helljumper guys. i think you have to add chuncks but i dont know where.

u need an effect that has bloc with it so u can swap those for debris or whatever theres a tut on it somewhere type in chain spawnig in the search and only look in the halo 2 modding general forums when u search

heres a quick tut on chain spawning...
open up the map ur modding if not headlong or gemini and open up headlong and recursivly inject(drag over in insolence) the effect
its something like effect\gear\battery_explosion i know it has battery_explosion on the end. then once that take the effect and swap the bloc's for w/e u want then null everything else out and use the effect and it will spawn those bloc's(the things u swapped out)

Chain Spawnings rather fun. Just dont have things like a Frag exploding into a Plasma that explodes back into a Frag, because the cycle will never end and lag you out (but its extremely fun to watch).
