What exactly is a chunk adder?

I have the program for chunk adding, and have heard people doing this "adding chunks" but dont exactly know what it is.

http://www.halomods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=32700 Answered here (not to sure what number it is, but it tells you how to add chunks and what a chunk adder does is it, well it... its kinda hard to say but its like when you need a new weapon to a map and all the current chunks (spots) are already full, so a chunk adder can add a new item without replacing any current item.

make sense?

makes sense to me. so a chunck is a place in the map that has an item in it because i was woundering the same thing???

Thanx i totally get it know, that is what i though it did.
I was reading a tutorial on how to add trees and such and he used a chunk adder and stuff. So thanks.
