Flamethrower Model Messed Up??

Well I extracted the Flamethrower models from Chillout using HMT, then I re-injected them into Halo 2 overwriting the Sentinel Beam using Dark Matter. Problem is, the model is pointing upwards :roll:

Its the same for both Elite and MC.

I could get the Assualt Rifle working in place of the SMG so I know I'm doing it right:

I know the FP Models aren't correct, I realised I didn't do that bit right :?

EDIT: Now I've fixed the FP Models the AR FP Model looks REALLY crap. The whole right side of it isnt solid. I am REALLY crap with models. Any help?
AND, with the FP Models fixed, the Flamethrower looks fine in its FP view but still messed in 3P!

u have to rotate it in something like milkshape then re-inject

Thanks for the fast reply. I'll *try* and work out how to do that.
I'm a complete idiot when it comes to modelling, so what has caused the Assualt Rifle to come out like this:

I GOT IT WORKING!! :D :) ;) :P

All I done was use the FP model as the 3P one!! :D

I'll have another go at the Assualt Rifle again tomorrow. I know I done something wrong.

nice good job. if ure talking about the skin for the AR those are the UV maps that are getting messed up when u inject... unfortunatly this cant be fixed :( ...yet

And heres a little more info i help someone else with on rotating models to appear correctly in game

think of the purple line as mc's body
and the yellow line as his arms
and at whatever angle u rotate the model between thos to line will be how he holds it ingame.

lol nice, i injected all of the h1 models into h2 i was gonna release it but ppf wouldnt work (0 changes thing) and serenity crashed w/o reason when i tryed to make a patch :shock:

the reason why the AR looks like that in FP is because the way he is holding the SMG. he is holding it so that part of it is in his face so then you are looking inside it. I also suggest you make it so he holds it like a BR so it looks like its suppose to :wink:
