counter strike models

counter strike models

ok i have gotten my hand on a program that decompiles cs modles and weapons into .smd files, so i can view them in milkshape. so i import the dessert eagle model edit it to what like and then export it as a .obj file. then i export the magnum from halo2 and and do everthying like it says in the tuts.
i go back into dark matter and inject the new model(i can see it in the model preview area) and save the meta. then when i go to add to map and select the meta i get this an error(pic below). if any one could help i would really apriciate it, thanks.

i thought he can do what he wants if he legally owns them, and doesnt distrubte them, because thats piracy (some people may not have counterstrike and they use his mod to get the models)

maybe the path to the meta that your adding has illegal characters. maybe try dropping them in to your c:\ and try adding them there or something

also u shouldnt save the meta in the same folder where your .obj files are either

Or you could just not Rip, make your own models!
