HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

ok, i all ready know how to mod the new maps its just the old maps im having trouble with.I coyped halo2 to my hard drive and mess.it created a D folder with maps and bink or what ever in it. And it also created a games folder inside the E forlder with halo 2 in it and maps and stuff. Well everytime i try to mod one of them this is what happens.
1.i transfer the map from the E/Games/halo 2/maps folder on my xbox with flash fxp.
2. Ithen copy the map so i have a backup.
3.Then i apply the mod using serinety or ppf.
4. Then i signed it(well i did sign it, but i accedentaly deleated my signer so if any one has the like or what ever to that CMr signer or what ever can you send it to me, i cant get the others to work.)
5.Then i transfered it back to my maps folder in the E folder. play the game....
and..BAM it dosent work. The map loads but thers no mod can someone help!!!

ok you d: folder is the disk drive. also make sure the disk is out of the drive or else it will read halo2 from the d: before the E:

ok i did what you said and it tok like forever to load the map and finaly it did but ther was no mod.
