hey im new to here and to modding i was wonderin if ne1 could help me at all like how to get started and wat programs i would need things like that i just reacently put a xbit mod chip n my xbox the only thing ive ever done like this is ive scripped b4 and had my xbox softed modded for wolferstien return to the castle that old stuff so agian i was hopin i could get sum help with wat i should start with to warm up please.....ive been wanting to learn how to do stuff like this for years

i can help you with what programs that can be used. First you will need one of these three programs ADI, Dot Halo, or Ch2r. I have both Daot HAlo and ADI. These programs are for editing the maps. ex. how high you jump. Then you might want to get insolence so you can transfer objects and charcters from other levels. ex. getting the fuel rod canon in coagulation or any other map. Now you will need a program to send the modded maps over on to your Xbox hard drive. For this i would use Flash FXP. Those are all of the programs that i think are necessary for modding.

k i just got all the programs there was another thing i was wonder do i have to save nething from halo2 that i need to load up on the computer to do this and with these programs will i be able to build new maps and change the wat guns shoot and kool stuff like that?

hey im havin problems with the files when i try to open them there not opening i extracted the files and everything but the wont open

is there a program u could send that runs the rar files cuz these i cant get to open right now

For most of these programs you need WinXP(or atleast Windows) and the .net framework. The .net framework can be downloaded at the windows update site. If you have all that make sure you are uncommpressing the .RAR files with a program such as WinRAR.
