Basically, I have a few maps I have some mods I have made and others I want to try out. But, I dont know how I can add them.

Is there any way to make a "Map Pack" like warlock and containment so that I can put my maps into a certain folder and have them come up in the game menu.

Thanks.

If you mean being able to add them to your main menu, so you don't have to swap them with the original maps sure, here'a tut:

there is a way, you need to edit the patch_v3.lvl file in an mappack, only... i has an hash of the maps that is (from what i'm told) 512bits long...
and only the mimesis team has cracked it, but they won't give it too anyone

What do you have to edit in Patch3 or w/e?

you have to find out the format the hash is in, and you need too map the file (it' not that hard)but the prob is, the hash that sighnes the map is 512? bits long and nobody have crack it yet ( except the mimesis crew but they won't give it out...)

OK, sorry if this is noobish but what is "Hash"?

an hash is an sort of "code" that representates the code in an file, if you change something in an file (size, etc) the code changes, halo2 compares the
patch_v3.lvl hash with an hash dynamicly build from the map, if those aren't thesame, it failes to load.

the memisis crew has figured the code out, but they won't give it to anyone because it can srew live, you can edit mappack and sign them, and live would think they are completely normal, but... it is also a very easy way to deploy new maps.
