Swapping a reticule

How would I go about swapping a reticule?

I think you can change the hud thingy in scenarios. Maybe find the bitmaps and edit those internally?

i want the br reticule to look like an smg's

i think i may check it out in a minute. I'll post my progress if i make any.


EDIT: USING CH2R-----I found it its in shared.map under "ui\hud\bitmaps\new_hud\crosshairs"

then double click on hud_reticules.bitm and there will be an ass load of reticules. :D

Well, this is how I do it in Insolence.

1. Open the map.

2. Open "weap" and double click "objects\weapons\rifle\battle_rifle\battle_rifle".

3. Click Visual Dependancies under Show and double click "ui\hud\battle_rifle" and use the drop-down menu to pick "ui\hud\smg".

4. Close the tag.

5. Fix map signature and close.

actually, i do want the entire hud changed thx
