HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

HI I am kinnda lost here I have some maps for halo2 also the auto battle rifle and flying worthog was wondering where to put these fileson my xbox through ftp like e drive or what? Thanks

You have to put halo 2 on your hard drive and then FTP the edited map over into the F folder under games halo 2 then maps.

or the E: folder.

Halo2 is on my E drive backed up I am using the origanal xbox hdd so I just want to put the modded maps where the origanal maps go. I have tried renaming it and it works after 4 hours of messing with it. Also the ppf thing to combine like midship the hulk and I ppf it but I cnt find where it goes then I take the file where it says on the location and install it on a map and it goes to 0 on the countdown then says failed to load.

Are you sure you fixed the encryption after putting the ppf file on.

I just like downloaded the map decesion right and I took it renamed acesion.map uploaded it to xbox deleted other level and replaced it with the modded after a while of doing this it works. I didn't even ppf that level but this is for the ppf ok I take the little level mod like the colors I had downloaded and I ppf the origanal level and the mod together then I copy where it says the file is go there and upload that to the game and it loads all the way to 0 then just says failed to load map. I am trying to get the encryption thing but the guy is sendming like 4 files and they all dnt work so I dnt know what to do.

THis guy named UgLy-NeRd is the best person on this site sorry everyone. He spent time with and explained how to do the things right with putting maps on and also gave me a couple of programs and explained how to use this guy is the best THANKS A LOT MAN . Later
