ok im new to modding halo maps so bear with me

i downloaded h2x and loaded the warlock i got off of my xbox

i made the pistol have zoom

i went to options sign map

i put it on my xbox and it fails to load map

the thing is i signed it and it still failed

anyhelp will be appreciated

Well you modded one of the new maps. In order for you to use it properly, you have to sign it, put it in the /maps folder of your Halo 2 directory, and then make a slot for it in the mainmenu.map.

If that is too hard for you right now, then just try modding one of the original maps.

well you must hae used it wrong, i remember like a millon(3-4) topic asking this same question.

you have to delete everything in the maps folder on your xbox except for the .map files... like the contentimage, contentmeta, patches, all that you have to delete off of your xbox, to get them back, just redownload the maps, you dont have to do anything to the mainmenu just overwrite the .map file on you xbox with the one you modded, and delete everything else in the folder.

I know how to play modded maps in MM.

what do you mean by modded, like, skins or the actual weapons?

Skins? What good are skins in MM?

glowing sniper rifles, idk, they dont really help, but what mods do you have?
