SP to MP - Now possible?

Has anyone thought to try of doing SP - MP now that conversion is possible through insolence? I know it doesn't do BSPs, buuut, Halo 2 is different then Halo 1 in the fact that it's much more leniant. Now, the question everyone is asking is

'If I transfer MULG (which will transfer everything else supporting it, which is a lot, be in for a LONG wait.), change the SCNR type to multiplayer, change the MATG, change a couple of spawn point and etc, will my SP map now be MP?'

I'm testing this out now personally, but I think we should really try to go for it now that we have the correct tools to. It's gonna be a pain to null out all of those sounds though.

EDIT: Hmm, getting close. Map loads up, no freezing, but it won't spawn me at all. Maybe this is because a cutscene is supposed to run then? Maybe I should wait until the cutscene is over? I wonder. btw, it's the score sheet actually showing up, with the respawn in 0 black screen.

I know some1 has done it, I just can't remember his name. But to do it, you need a recompiler. I'm pretty sure TF6 has one. that's about it.

As I said, I think there's some kind of conflict between the cutscene and the fact that there's no way to spawn. Somehow, we need to get the scnr/matg dependencies multiplayer'ized, I just don't know how right now.

I find multiplayer'ized funny...

We should probably compare single player, to multiplayer, and to single player shared. Seeing as single player shared loads perfectly in multiplayer. Also, does anyone know if single player shared loads up if you play it in single player? Based on its name, I'm guessing it does.

Uh, question....
How would you play the map file?
Since you change the SCNR type to Multiplayer, do you just add the file to the mainmenu? Not quite sure about that since I'm pretty new to modding halo 2. Just thought it would be interesting to mess around with it a little bit.

you get get one of the programs (forget what all ones do it, but I know dothalo does) and open the mainmenu.map and add a map slot in there for your map. go here for a tutorial on it
