yea it doesnt create any temp files so idk whats wrong, just redownload then make sure your maps are fresh

Yo anthony, if you could hop on AIM whenever possible. I think this new version of h2core didn't rebuild my map properly...that is, it's without a sky. I even referenced the sky in the scnr. Not sure what else to do...

hes talking about the new version that I sent him lastnight so its a bug I need to fix

and VSG19902 make sure you clear out your tags folder and decompile again because different versions will be a problem

just try messing with it a bit, I remeber I compiled a map and the sky worked fine, so mabey its just for your 1 map

try a different one then let me know

im gonna try and ditch baseball practice that way I can get home from school at 12:20 rather then 7:30 <_<

Yea I tried everything, even deleted the settings and found the 3 maps again. Does it matter if the maps and tags are on two different drives? My mainmenu, shared, and single_player_shared are on X:\Unmodded. My maps are on X:\Modded, and My tags are C:\Tags. I really dont know what to do, I am using your 3-7-07 version. :)

Anyways I finally got Mainmenu bsp compiled into a map :P
Took 2 hours with my slow ass laptop (256 RAM, and 1.5 gHz processor).

Glad i'm getting a new comp soon.

Yeah, okay. I don't think the checkmark picture was nessecary. Don't insult my intelligence. I'm thinking about this a level above your one button solution. Sure I can do this. But now I need to get rid of the extra scenery that is bloating my map size with out screwing up the scenery palette. Because on my first rebuild, everything was floating out from the city. Forget it, I'll do it without bothering to explain it to you.

and VSG19902, that should be just fine, im really not sure why its not working. Some maps don't work. Try the tutorial map again that I putup

I'm not really sure what it is, but every time I try to do it, it screws the map up. I can view bitmaps, and I can view collision, but visual mesh throws an error about a negative number... which I think has something to do with the shaders. Anyone know what it might be?

And Beezie... what's with your resolution? Come on man...

I use my 52" HD widescreen TV as my monitor. 0_0
I have to set my res. big to see stuff properly, somtimes I forget to resize my pics. >_<

So,
with my floodlab,
I removed the doors that weren't supposed to open, so you can into some small new rooms. However, sometimes it acts likes theres a working door there in the following manner: the doorway will be just a black wall that you can walk through and sometimes you hear the door open and then the black wall goes away. Keeping in mind the doors never opened in the first place, I'm kinda confused as to how to get rid of the wall. Usually the doors stay open though.

I know the frequently asked quesitons tell me that on the "sound\dsp_effects\sound_effect_templates\global_speaker_chorus.effects"
it doesn't get stuck, but on mine I get that error where I can pick "details" "continue" or "quit".
Can this be fixed?

thanks for reading the FAQ :)

it is probably getting a error on a sound that it is trying to relink or something, right now there is no way to fix it.

Thanks for telling me, but H2Core stoped rebuilding any and all of my clean maps, so I deleted everything :cry: ...I was tring to convert Metropolis bsb 4 and coagulation, so if you have a specific tutorial on these maps...it would greatly be appreciated :(
