Fully working scarab in MP
AFuzySquirrel you are acting like you are doing something revolutionary, its really not too hard to change the cords of a script... We knew it was a script so its not like you figured anything else out that we didn't know. Its cool that you are trying new things but you keep making it sound like you are some sort of hero and I don't understand it.

lol i know about the edit button but i thought it really needed a new post.
but i dont think i need to put a download up its very easy to do. ive already overwritten my map. so ya but ill post a tutorial. i only tested on turf tho.
edit- well i know its not revolutionary but why has nobody tried this? its so simple. im no hero and dont think this deseves a hero title but people ask me all the time about a working scarab. well im assuming others get the same messages?
and there not coordinates its timing. i think ne ways.
UPDATE: as well i havent finished it yet. all i did was inject 1 script to see if i could at least get the scarb to move. there are about 45 scripts for the scarab that controll everything. to finish this you would need to redirect all the coordinates on all those scripts. its not hard but it is very time consuming.
EDIT NUMBER 2: well i think i can see why noone has put this in a mod. heres a list of reasons
1. the size of the scarab is completely irrelevant. even on coag it can wal past the bases cuz you have script it to walk over the bases not crash into them.
2. it laggs horribly. when you look at the scarab your models go invisible and you cant see the sky.
3.you have to also fix the shaders and lights to get the scarab to look like the one on turf or newmombassa. otherwise it looks green and its projectiles are invisible.
honestly i dont have the time to do this. if anyone has the time to do this properly just lemme know and ill help but i dont see it being good in anymod unless you plan to spend many hours or days on the map.
