Thanks guys thats cracked it, and a dam site quicker and a lot less crap than other modding sites too,
the chain reaction game sound fantastic but the point system could cause some arguments
"I killed you"
"but I blew you up which blew up the other guy which blew him up which spawn killed those two, so its my killtacular"
I had a game called chain reaction but it was different, every grenade explosion spawned 1 more grenade projectile everyone threw their grenades at the beginning of the game and then ran for cover

Sorry to be a pain in the arse guys the exploding when killed method described is good, but I seem to like the chain spawned grenade method more
I added 2 plasma nades to
effe tag effects\objects\characters\masterchief\masterchief _shield_depletion
which is pretty good once your shield is depleted the nades spawn and the attacker has seconds to finish you off If they can't your death is due to the guardians plus your body is thrown up into the air thus no corpse humping. but this method behaves weird in no shield games (I suppose it should really)
I would like to see the nades spawn at the exact moment of death because I get the idea that the explosion may be almost synced with the 3 second respawn pips eg you die, pip, pip ,pip, BOOM!
Is there any effe that is common to most or all death scenarios that I could apply chain spawning to? (other than shield depletion and I tried effects\contact\collision\blood_aoe\blood_collision_human that seams to be the heavy grenade damage when you release a few blood splatters)
If there isn't anything common and I have to do it individually for each weapon could you give me 3 examples (1 for plasma weapons 1 for conventional weapons 1 for grenades) of which tags paths to apply chain spawning to?
