i really would like to close bases in coagulation; i want to put doors to close the two bases and i want to make a switch that closes or opens the doors.
please help me if you can: i want you to explain me what to do this.
please answer as soon as possible

Use a machine and a control to operate it. I believe there is a nice door that fits nicely in the doorways on a covenant sp level. You can find it in the machine tag of course. Just search around the covenant levels for it. As for getting the control to open and close the doors... You would need to link the control to the machine. There is an older tutorial here that will show you how to do just that. Search around the tutorials for this kind of stuff. It's there, and for this purpose exactly.

I put doors in that open and close when you go near, and they fit quite nicely.

Until they open and poke out the sides a bit. And they make teleporter sounds, that I've been too lazy to fix.

You can look at what Containment does to correspond the pushing of a button to open the gate.

and another thing: how do i rotate objects on entity?

You could use the bsp viewer.

I'll dig up that link in a second.

ok i have two things to ask:
1- the link of the tutorial on how to spawn doors and how to get the link to open them;
2- the link of the tutorial on how to rotate objects on entity because i haven't still understood.

And you use the Alt or Control key to rotate objects while moving the mouse on the object.
