How do i get a Death Zone/Barrier Into Terminal

Post by xgamer »

I have heard that its impossible, but i don't think so. If professional modders can do things that are astoundingly greater than halo developers, im sure this should be nothing to boggle their minds.

I have tried adding a death barrier into terminal by using Entity Beta.
I copied the death zone reflexive from Gemini (which comes with the death zone chunk) onto the clipboard. I then opened up terminal and pasted it in. [this was all done within the scnr tag]

I then used death zone remover to change the coordinates of the newly created death zone, worked fine, saved it.

It seemed like it would work since it was in, so i resigned the map then i went into halo 2 and guess what, it was like it didn't even exist.

----------------

Can someone tell me how to make it function? Because i believe that the death zone really was in the map, just the damage, or the effect of it wasn't. Whatever it could be, please let me know so that i can copy that from Gemini and paste it inside Terminal.

If i got this whole thing wrong, please correct me if anyone knows, and if you are just thinking of only doing the death zone remover and nothing else, drop it because terminal has no death barrier to begin with, so you can't edit it.

Thank You

You could possibly do a bsp conversion. Then just rename the scenario location etc. Map Name. I don't know really. but its just a thought.
