Question-How do I make a map dark?

This is probably a basic mod but I can't manage to figure it out. How do I make a map look darker and not as if the ground is being hit by sunlight.

use either the uberlightmaptool, entity in the bsp viewer, or adi. if u still cant figure it out, pm me kuz
