[resolved] deleting chunks from reflexives

I'm trying to follow this tutorial; the part about adding new reflexives to tags. When I go to delete unneeded chunks from the reflexive, how do I know which ones aren't needed? Does it even matter? I thought maybe the numbers from the palette reflexive and the placement reflexive might match up but there are no where near the same number of chunks in each one.
