Few questions from a beginner.

Okay so far I have changed running, jumping, dual weilding, and messed around with weapons a little bit. All of this in DotHalo which so far is my favorite. Now I have a few questions I would like answered:


I have downloaded Exodus and Paraiso and tried to apply them with serenity, but after I start the game with them the screen goes blank I hear the main menu music and I am back at the game lobby or if their are two players I go all the way back to the press start screen.

What do I do with .map files that I download?

Many of the weapon mods I do randomly cause the game to freeze. As in sometimes it does and sometimes it does not.

I was wondering where I can go to get Tombstone and Desolation since I cannot go on Xbox Live even if I still had my account on my Xbox.

And finaly, are there any suggestions on other mods I should try when I move on?


Thanks for any help in advance. I understand this is common and very tiresome, but I have been troubleshooting and researching for a week now and ready to ask a few of my own questions.

Dothalo is very out of date use entity

remove your autoupdate

you shouldnt be downloading .map files...

can't help without knowing what your changing

there is no other legal way

find an aspect of modding which you like and look into it

ok now the downloaded maps work without the update thanks.

Regarding the maps freezing: Some of the time my maps freeze because of a brute plasma rifle which I have not even touched yet. I have also messed with the deviances, amount of projectiles, ammo/clip sizes, force, and damage of multiple weapons. Would the auto-update or DotHalo have had anything to do with it?

Also a little off topic, I cannot download the Vista menu skin from deltahalo, but I really like how it looks and wish to download it.
