I want a modding tutorial on skinning.
I just started modded like a month ago and I want to learn how to skin something. If there is any specific programs I need, it would be nice if I could know where to find them.

92% of teens have moved on to rap. If you are part of the 8% who still listen to real music, copy and paste this into your signature.

Get a program called stickied in the utilities section call DotHalo.
1.Go to the bitm tag of your map and extract a bitmap. It should say DXT1, DXT2/3 or DXT5. If you at a begining stage of skinning olny extract those types of bitmaps.
2.Get the nvidea photoshop plugin(google it) or dxtbmp.
3.If you are using phtoshop open up your bitmap and edit it.Then save it as DXT1 ARGB(1bit aplha)if you are editing DXT1. Save DXT5s as DXT5s ect...
4.open up your map in dothalo again and inject your bitmap into the old one.
5.Congradulations! Now resign and send to your xbox.
