Flying Master Cheif...

Post by Xob-X »

I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, but I have a couple of questions.

How would I make a flying character. I've read some stuff about flying bipd but I don't know what those are.

And if I learn the flying, how would I null out mc's torso and legs so you could fly around without legs in your face.

I would appreciate it if someone would tell me that.

Thank you.

I would also like to know how to remove the legs from your sight. But the thing Im realy interested in is how to make a evox .etm trainer from a Halo 2 editor. I know you can't make a .etm file from H2Edit, the editor Im using, but how do i find the offsets and addresses of the tags I edit. The reason I want to know this is because I know how to make the Elite fly, the chief flys at a 45 degree angle from center, and I wanted to make a trainer so I sould turn it on and off in game like super jump in all the other trainers.

Any help would be appreciated. :D

When I try to switch to XML it says there is no plugin for this tag even though I can see it in its plugin directory...

you have to move the "xml" folder that is in the "plugins" folder of entity, to Plug ins.

The values are still within the ent plugin, within the boundingbox reflexive. Whatever is in the standard xml plugins is sure to be in the ents as well, making them quite pointless..

If you do not see the boundingbox reflexive, make sure 'invisibles' is checked as it was invisible in mine for some reason..

Thank you Th2mods, that did work, but I still have two questions that I hope you can help me with. For one thing I can only edit the mainmenu which when edited does almost nothing for the rest of the levels. The other thing is that now that I got the right tags visible how do I find the addresses of the values im changing?

Once agin, any help is appreciated...

i dont fully understand your question. but if you want to know what values you are changing use the "meta editor" tool in entity

WHat im saying is that I want to make a trainer so I can turn on and off the ability to fly in multiplayer maps. This isnt that different from do X2 Jump like all the other Halo 2 trainers out there. So my underlying question is; When making a trainer, you have to know the address of a value, the value, and what you want to change it to, so im wondering how do you find out the address in the map file of the value I want to change. In other terms how would I make a trainer so I could turn on and off super jum, or in my case, flying?
