How to shoot UN-exploding grenades? But explode....read on

i did, multiple times, someone needs to work on either their Grammar or they need to learn the English language... because "But explode when i set them off for a launch?" doesn't make any sense.

OH.... if its like Warthog Launching from Halo 1 that your trying to achieve, You might want to tick the invulnerable box in the Warthogs HLMT in CH2R if your planning on launching it, otherwise it will just turn to mince..

Secondly, last i checked, Halo 2 Grenades act completely different to Halo 1 nades, you might even have to script in the detonation style changes that you would want to make.

Halo 2 grenades act the same as halo 1 grenades, BUT THATS NOT THE QUESTION. Let me rephraise it for you...

How would i shoot the UN-EXPLODED grenades, so i can place them where-ever i want so i can set them off for a launch?

Okay I think i get what you are saying. K, take the smg, right? swap the meta of the smg projectile with the grenade equipment meta. Then go in-game and spray your grenades everywhere, they might fall right to the floor, but there is a plugin that can fix that. Then take out a magnum in-game and shoot the grenades that came out of the smg. I think thats how you do it for PC, and it should work for xbox.

Ya they do...how do you think i lauched a tank across the metropolis bridge with no mods. Sputnik and blackeye skulls used...it took about 50-60 grenades..fall timer also needed. I have a video if you wish.

Wich reminds me for somthing i accedently discovered with Frag nades in MP (not sure if it will help tho)

i set the delay before explode timer to 900 so it would take forever to explode, but i discovered that if you mele the grenade as its sitting on the ground, it will explode....

not sure if theres somthing there thats useable.

yeah i had an idea something like that is possible because if you shoot an active grenade in multiplayer it will explode in a players face.

I've tried something similar to Dazza's way and if you do throw a gernade that has a long explosion delay and shoot a rocket at it or even melee it. It will indeed explode. So make a gun shoot out nades and then shoot them with another gun.

Okay this is a slight bump, but IT WAS SO FUNNY LITSENING TO YOU GUYS, espaisially when I knew the answer. I don't know how to do it and you've probably given up by now or figured it out, but to explain the situation, Striderdude from the very beginning was asking for grenades that when throw do not explode until hurt to a certain extent, blown up, ect. like when they are dropped by a dead guy (which is a whole different item by the way). Also if I were to guess at the answer, why not just exchange the dropped grenade tags with the thrown tags? Anyways I hope that helps.
