Ok so I was Modding away and I decided I wanted to make a wicked banshee with flame skins and such so I went along making this uberl33t skin then when I went to test it, it turns out the the old, purple skin is showing thru my new skin! Is there something I need to do to to make it so it doesnt show thru? I'll post pics if you'd like. I've also tried the same thing for the warthog, just as a test, I ripped the dds's from another mod and injected them into a new clean slate warthog and the tires/whole body was see thru (mostly noticable when you are on the side that the light is shining on which leads me to beleive that it would have something to do with lgtm which I know nothing about. I've also heard things about bump maps but upon further reading I found out this i'snt the case because I've seen other people's mods...
Anywho help is appreciated and if u want pics of what I'm tslking bout just ask...
Thanx! zzzz

I Can See Inside Your Monitor

first i would like to say nice to see you back at the forums dan.
if i remember right, what you are seeing is the reflection map. In the dependancies of the banshee shader, just null out the caripace shell bitmap, dont think i spelled that right, and that should fix the problem.
