Serenity is an app for patching, it can patch mostly any map, you can get it here. Super ppf isn't used much anymore due to serenity being awesome.

Serenity can sign maps, add them to the main menu, protect your map, and can intergrate with the windows shell. Super ppf can't sign maps, add them to the main menu, protect your map, and can't intergrate with the windows shell. Which is better?

i myself use .sppf patches, mainly because Serenity causes BSOD, and many other problems.... i have found with .SPPF patches that if the map is signed before the patch is created, when the patch is applyed to a stock map, it also applys the sig.
the only problem i have with SPPF is the background.... too bright.
and as for Serenity and SPPF patches being for better mods than plain old PPF? that is the biggest joke ive ever heard.
the only real difference is the old ppf files are slightly bigger.... wow.
i still use good old PPF today, and have never had any issues with it.
