modeling in single player halo2

when i star t the map on cairo station, i pick up my injected model and i walk a few steps then the game freezes, what is wrong?

and when i try to inject a battle rifle.. it loads.. then it asks what the new name should be and i name it the default (battle_rifle(new)) then it doesent inject and theres an expetion. any ideas?
