Adding things to map

Post by The Legend »

Alright... every time i add things to a map like more boxs or machines it always blue screens/red bars everyone else if i host.

I add items by duplication of itmc then assigning what i wanna duplicate to them. Then i goto scnr and clone the weopon and assign the duplicated/changed itmc to replace some of the clones...

My question is what am i doing differently from the skymap courses where they duplicated tons of briges and other items and it still loads fine.

mmk, Dunno, But remove your sig and avatar, they both break Sig Size/Filesize rules, as does your Avatar.

You forgot to make you're mod SLC (System Link Compatable). You can't just make a mod and play it in System Link and excect everyone to see it and for it to go fine. Also, make sure you test your mod in split screen before you go onto system link. There are two ways to make mods SLC, the 'Meta Fake' and the other by adding chunks to the Predictable Recouces reflexive in the scnr tag and refrencing the added chunks and chnaging them. If you make it SLC, pesople on SL will see the thing you added.
