Quick question about clearing cache files.

I downloaded the halomaps v2 pack and put it in my games folder. The instructions on the website say to make sure all cache files in the x y and z folders are cleared. Does that mean I should delete the files or does it mean check if they are usable.

Basically i'm wondering if all i need to do is actually delete the files. Just a quick answere would be appreciated.

just delete them. they reload again once you play halo 2 again
