Program bashing

Alright i have been gone for a while and havent been able to defend some of my programs and they have even been remade by other people and i would just like to say if you can write a better version in vb6 its definetly harder to do in vb6 than 7 or 8 monkey terd remade my collection placer because "as Tfav's shifted the spawns by a few degrees" if he can write a better float to hex and hex to float function without any outside code be my guest say that but he was writing in vb7/8 and guess what they have a BinaryReader.ReadSingle() A FLOAT no manual conversion required and the reason it mine didnt have as much stuff as his is just that most of the values he has werent even found when i made mine i mean damn if you are going to bash a program you should be able to go back in time without your current knowledge and write a better version in the same language. i mean damn really.

im not putting MT down or anything just asking for a little respect

and isnt it easier to post what is good about the program whose thread your in then say what was wrong with another program

and i wasnt able to post in the programs forum because its in utilities and only moderators can post there

i would appriciate your comments on this subject

Dude, I love your programs, and I never bagged on them. Your stuff like Bitmap Adder and Bitmap Internalizer, I would not even know where to begin on programming that. I know that Vb8 is much easier to code than when you made your stuff, especially with Anthony's h2map.vb. The only reason I even made that, was because someone asked for it, I prefer my Blue Gurilla plugins over any collection placer anyday. Why make a new one? Becasue everytime I used yours, and other people as well, the weapons were all floating away from where they should have been. I hope you did not take me making that as stealing your idea or something...

I am a "noob" programmer, and probably coulnt not code a webbrowser in vb6. Shit, if it wern't for Anthony's sources, I probably couldn't do that in .net either. If you look, that was my 1st app I posted. I duno if you saw my Mainmenu editor, but mabye that earns me more respect as a programmer, instad of just reading floats out of an IFP. I don't know your opinion on me, but I'm assuming since you think I was bashing your program by making my own, you probably don't think to much of me. If you look, when I posted that, I even put your name in the credits for making the 1st one. Sorry for any confusion/bashing that went on by me releasing my app.

Now, thats just my 2 cents.

, not Tfav. Tfav1228 made all the awesome oldschool programs like Halo2IB, H2 Map protector, SizedPPF, Halo2CP, and Bitmap Adder.

You havn't seen that or the one he made scotty?

Its a complicated php script (im assuming) that grabs images where sigs are, then eats them all up and makes a huge sig outta them. He has it because he's just cool like that.

Aequitas: I see your point and I now make programs in C#.net and VB.net. It is just that when I was making those programs I was learning from Jefff and GlitchyGuardian and the only tutorial for loading a Halo 2 map was Jefff's for VB6.

Then Farklem gave me some source and my .net programming days began.

Oh and Monkey Terd it does earn you some points but I don't really see the difference between it and Anthony. You should consider actually loading magic and loading the index instead of using set offsets(which is why it doesn't work if another patch has been applied to it to begin with. BTW you ever see my Halo2USE(Ultimate Settings Editor)? I don't look down on you FYI.

And I didn'n make SizedPPF at the time of its release I was shit clueless about programming I just told GlitchyGuardian what to do for it.

This wasn't directed at anyone specific I was just using examples this is a post about respect. Don't say a program is bad unless you can do it better yourself.(MAIN POINT)

I still use your programs! As a matter of fact, I used the easy flying application about ten minutes ago.

I also to this day use Halo 2 USE for adding maps to the main menu.
