I have a few misc. Halo 2 modding questions.

Post by x088x »

1. I'm not very familiar with chunk adding, so how do I add a chunk to a biped so it has a HUD?
2. When I replace the boxes on Elongation with something else (or null them out) in the scnr tag, my map freezes. How would I do this without it freezing?

I will add more as I think of them. Thanks in advance.

1) you already have a hud
2) what are you trying to replace it with? I made a map with mc on the blue side and eliets on the red side and it worked fine for me. If the scnr tag doesn't work for you try goint to the model of the box and changing it there.

1. I am talking about a biped that DOESNT have a HUD. Such as a Brute/Grunt/Drone/Jackal.
2. I'm trying to replace them all with ghosts for a map that's fun for everyone on Xlink.

1) i see but I've never done that so I can't help there
2) I'll look into it, as I've said I've never had a problem with that so I'll see If I can replicate your problem. Is that the only change you made since it loaded correctly?

Yes. It doesn't even load, it just freezes at 0.
