Halo 2 HD question..

Hi everyone, i'm new to the halo modding scene and i really want to ask a simple question.

Is Halo 2 needed to be on the xbox HD to be modded or have modded maps? (using memisisv2 that is)

Yes it does, (if you are modding the orignal maps) unless you wanna burn a DVD every time you change something (been there done that killed my samsung b DVD drive)

Unless your just using savefile hacks n stuff.

No. If you are editing and replacing the downlaod content maps then you don't need H2 on the hdd. And mimesis installs them as basically new downlaodable content.
