When I did it, it looked like a warthog with no wheels sitting on top of a tank with no turret. Or did you mean with the nulled shader? In that case, it looked like tank treads (and I mean JUST the treads themselves, not the whole chunk of tread, but the moving part). They had no thickness, so that they were invisible if viewed from the side. I suppose the hull-bone could be moved to z-50 or something, and the tread bones could be moved inward so that they would line up with the hog. Then the seat marker could be moved z+50 and changed to a hog seat, or, if you could rig the turret seat to drive the thing, then the hog's actual seat could be used. In the end, though, it wouldn't be that cool, 'cuz it's collision (phmo collision, I mean) would still be as big as the tank.

are you sure? i thought if you moved the bones that coll ect went with it

maybe we should take a look at the coll and phomo i already looked at coll and it seem fairly similar to mode

Yeah, it seems coll is directly linked to the mode, so if you disconnect a bone, you can shoot right through where it used to be, but phmo is different, so even though you can shoot through it, you can still stand on it, or get hit by it, or it'll get caught on something when you try to drive by at 60mph. The thing I don't know for sure (and don't really feel like testing right now--maybe later) is if the phmo will move with the marker. Like, if you moved the tread markers, would the phmo come them, or does it only affect how the tank handles in relation to the ground?
