ppf's and sppf's help

hi i have just downloaded my frist "patch" (ppf and sppf ) the paint ball one from the files forums. and i installed it to the map and mainmenue at when it come up in the main menue it says it failed to load i done everything to fix it tried it encryted and unencrypted, deleted the cache and i still cant get it to work if antone come give me some pointers on what to do i have the x3 ce and halo has the 1.1 content enabled AU
