If your talking about uncompressing the map so all you have are the tag and stuff like you can do in halo1 thats not possible with halo2

You don't uncompress the map.

You open it in an editor like ADI.

Where did all these new people come from? After the forums re-opened there has been a flood of new kids that are asking questions I answered months ago. Oh well...
