New maps un moddable!

They changed it!!! They changed it all!!!! Noooooooooooo....So far none of the current modding tools work for the new maps, well not for me anyway. let me know if you have any progress or problems...

do u mean not open the new maps, becouse i can open them all but i havnt tried modding them.

no, you open them mod them then resign them just fine, they load just fine to, but then... nothing!

that really sucks if you are telling the truth.....i was looking forward to messing with the conveyor belts/trains speeds and stuff like that....these maps had the potential of being some of the best maps to mod....

Jimmy what you think the name of the site is dude it is HALOMODS!! We mod halo, when u cant mod something for fun to mess around and have a blast with ur friends and not cheat on live it SUCKS!!

Its true. Sure its fun to play around for 20 mins... but it gets old. I've modded them though... don't use insolence. Thats my only hint. And not all mods work. You MUST ballance them out.

well so far i have tried a few different things, i have tried editing the jump hieght, making a fully auto battlerifle, making inf ammo battlerifle, and increasing force of battle rifle projectile, so if all these are among the new shit we cant do, then that just sucks!!!!

Well if you gonna try to cheat, then FU, and I hope no one helps you, but I got jump height to work on backwash. Plus the Moniter is fun to mess with. It all worked for me, halo gods must hate you :)

A perfect example of an ignorant noob, Yes me posting a message about my troubles modding the new maps is an attempt at cheating while you modding the maps is just a way to have good clean fun... f u??? lmao fairy boy shut up... go bang your head on a rock or somethin... and by the way folks i figured out what was wrong, to avoid bieng flamed by noobs like this, pm me and i will help you out... see he thinks were gonna go log into matchmaking and cheat shhhh dont tell him... were playing team slayer right now on backwash with superjump hieght.. hehehe yay! what a fag. :roll:

I'm completely confused now. Here's the summed up version of all the info:

-I don't cheat
-I hate cheaters

Drunken BOmber, don't sign the map after modifying it. If you sign it, the map is dead :(. If you don't it should work just fine and not fail to load.

These maps are moddable just like the other new maps... you still have to sign the maps though, and you don't have to clear your cache :-/

I dont see what you mean by the map is "dead", signing it with the ES (should) only write to 1 dword of the map file, at any rate you should sign it( with the ES" because halo wont recognize it Otherwise(well obviously).
